It all started in Seymour, CT. We created Junk My Car—a website that offered to haul away clunkers for free.

Our next big stepping stone was the launch of Buy My Wreck, a groundbreaking website providing junk car sellers with instant online offers.

Business was booming, so we hightailed it to Austin, TX, and rebranded ourselves as Peddle.

We proudly reached a milestone, with $100M paid to those who trusted us to sell their cars over the years.

In the early 00s, Peddle's founder worked at his family's auto-salvage yard while developing computer games on the side. He realized there was a snag or two with folks getting rid of their used car and wanted to fix it.
